Multifamily Tax Exemption (MFTE) Program

Kinect @ Shoreline is pleased to offer rent-restricted homes through Shoreline's Multifamily Tax Exemption (MFTE) Program. These select homes are available to qualified residents who meet Kinect @ Shoreline's rental screening standards and fall within the program’s income eligibility requirements. Applicants begin by completing our standard application and rental screening process. Once approved, our leasing team will verify household income to determine eligibility for the MFTE program. To qualify, a household’s projected income must fall below the maximum limit set by the City of Shoreline, based on a percentage of the Area Median Income (AMI). At Kinect @ Shoreline, a limited number of homes are part of this program, designated for applicants earning between 70% and 80% of the AMI.
